Draw Something - first animationfilm

"Never let loneliness and sadness win. You're as lonely as you think you are, so smile."
Finally it's finished. I spent so much sweat and blood on this (lucky only the first part is true, I'm not so much into seeing blood) to work on this. It took me around 2 weeks of nothing more than drawing and editing in Adobe After Effects and adding the effects and correcting mistakes and rendering...A lot of rendering. I'm happy it turned out being as it is. Since I wanted to use it in the MINFF (Media Informatics Flying Fish Award), I had to hurry, but nonetheless did it turn out nicely and the people watching liked it. Even the Jury liked it. So much that I made 3rd place. Not much, but considering the competition and all the videos, games etc. other people showed, I'm as happy as I can be. After talking to the Jury afterwards I found out the problems I may have had and which parts could have been better. This way I can carry on doing what I like and use this experience to become better in the future.

first animation test

I never made an Animation before. For Our 1year Projekt I've planned to make a few animation shortfilms with different animations styles. First one is frame by frame drawing on a Wacom Cintiq. It is just amazing, this feeling of direct drawing on a screen.

This is my first animation test.

a bug's love

A bug's love is a 3D shortfilm about a love that can not be. It was made for the 4th Semester 3D Animation course. Sadly I wasn't able to put as much time into it, as I would have liked because of programm I had to write for my web programming course. But I still learned a lot that I can use for my next project.

deep

"Deep wounds" - 2013 Kristina Röpke
As a first post I'd like to share my all time favourite drawing. I tried to put all of my feelings during that time into it so it would say what I couldn't.
Drawing is not only art to me, it's a way of showing the things I can't say.

A few years ago, my dream was to become a Mangaka. On my journey to try to reach that dream, I realised that I like too many things to just focuse on this one and my love for film grew every day that passed.
